SUMMER SOCIAL-EMOTIONAL LEARNING

“NaliniKIDS is a trusted partner in providing innovative programs for all students.”

“NaliniKIDS is a trusted partner in providing innovative programs for all students.”

Laura Winter, Senior Director NYC DOE

From 2017–2019 NaliniKIDS was selected as the mandated social-emotional learning program for NYC's summer school program, Summer in the City. In 2020, when the world changed suddenly, NYC educators used our resources to give their students an outlet to cope and process the impact of Covid-19 on their lives.

The Department of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) at the NYC DOE and NaliniKIDS have shared a meaningful partnership for four years, which has inspired NaliniKIDS’ cohesive academic curriculum. STEM teachers enjoy using NaliniKIDS to help students make connections between their daily lives and academic subjects.

"STEM teachers must teach the 21st century soft skills that will help students to be successful both in the classroom, and in their future careers that may not even exist yet. NaliniKIDS does a wonderful job of teaching these skills through collaboration, communication, and self-reflection.”
