Connect Collection Volume 1 is a collection of 10 stories that teach students emotional awareness. Topics include: emotional weight, diversity, acceptance, perseverance, gratitude. These books have no pictures...yet. Part of the curriculum is for students to illustrate the books themselves. To do so, they analyze the meaning of each page, synthesize what it means to them, and express their thoughts through their drawings.

Through the lens of popular idioms, this collection of workbooks teaches students to identify their personal resources (interpretation, community, communication, goal setting, and more.) In the process of co-authoring and illustrating these books, students break down abstract concepts, reflect on how these concepts play out in their lives, and share their thoughts.

Connect Collection Volume 3 is a collection of poems about common objects (e.g., dollar, minute, fabric, internet) that teach students to identify and clarify their personal values. In the process of understanding the meaning of each stanza, students are prompted to uncover the similarities and differences between the objects and the core value system that readers bring to them.
Connect Collection Volume 4 prompts students to consider the factors that have shaped their personal views. Students unearth cultural and societal norms and examine how they have influenced their decisions, behaviors, and opinions. Students will be cued to explore whether their personal views are fixed or movable.
Connect Collection: Volume 5 inspires students to reflect on their personal connectivity—who they are as individuals, how they connect with themselves and others, and how they can better understand and connect to their physical and emotional selves.
Connect Collection: Volume 5 is made up of the memoir, Connect to Your One, and the NaliniKIDS Connectivity Workbook. The collection is designed so students work through the two texts in tandem.
In this memoir, written by Rupa Mehta, the founder of NaliniKIDS, students learn about the weight of words, the power of ONE WORD, and how the words of others can unearth life lessons. The author’s experience sparks students to reflect on their own lives to determine what their life lessons are and the ONE WORD that serves as their personal guiding principle.
