We're Hiring!

We appreciate your interest, but our recent hiring post seeking a freelance junior graphic designer has been filled. If you'd like to keep up with NaliniKIDS, please follow along on LinkedIn and Instagram. Thanks!

NaliniKIDS is an in-school wellness (non-profit) program with roots in New York City. We work with grades K-12 and help students gain self-awareness through physical and emotional health.

Our small remote team is seeking to hire a freelance junior graphic designer and/or paid design intern to help with a variety of design work—mostly print design with some digital design. Two-month contract to start—opportunity to grow with NaliniKIDS after that!

What you'd help us design:

  • Our big starting project includes copy edits and design tweaks to a large-scale children's book series
  • Our marketing materials and assets
  • Planning + designing content for the NaliniKIDS Instagram
  • Opportunity for digital/interactive projects down the road—like our website and online teacher portal

What we're looking for:

  • A confident junior designer with a variety of work examples (print and digital)
  • Someone with great attention to detail (you know the difference between -, –, and —)
  • Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop (other design programs a plus!)
  • Proficient in file organization and use of Dropbox + Google Drive
  • Comfortable with communicating on Slack and Google Hangouts
  • An appreciation for education / small business / wellness

The position:

  • This is a two-month part-time position (hrs per week flexible) with the opportunity to continue working together once we get rolling. We'll start with the first big project and go from there!
  • Our lead designer (Garet) is based in Columbus. Ideally, you would meet with him (virtually) at least 1–2 times per week to touch-base for feedback and direction.
  • We’ll start ASAP—goal to hit the ground running by Monday, April 13 (or sooner).

How to let us know you're interested:

  • Please send résumé and portfolio (website or PDF, etc) to garetcamella@gmail.com
